Boy meets girl. Boy likes girl. Boy makes mixed tape for girl. Girl falls in love with boy.
The idea of making a mixed tape for someone has become “cheesy” and is very much associated with teenage love, you know you didn’t have much money but you wanted to give your girlfriend something special for a Bday, anniversary, Christmas or just because.
But may I just say that as a 23 year old woman I would die if my boyfriend gave me a mixed cd!! I think it’s incredibly romantic and sweet. I think I will know when I’ve met “the one” if he makes one for me without me hinting at it lol!
